SUDAN, REFUGEE CAMPS RELIEF AND MINISTERING

RELIEF EFFORTS BY THE SUDAN CHRISTIAN INDIGENOUS MINISTRY LEADERS. THIS CONTINUES TO BE A WAR TORN REGION. DESPERATON IS THE NAME OF THIS HOUR IN THEIR HISTORY. 

 

Greetings in the mighty Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.Thanks for your constant prayer for our New Nation. As we are keeping on praying for the conflict in S. Sudan to come to an end, i want to bring this need to your attention in short words. 

 

Following what has happened in country, even though people are suffering displacement, but I can still see the opportunity for the Gospel, we are planning to reach out to the South Sudanese displace people in Nimule and the refugees in the Adjumani Uganda camp where more than 30 thousand people registered according to one of our pastors in the area.

 

As we have also discussed earlier, we are in need of financial support to Our theme for this mission is: Our focus is: 

 

1- To do Evangelism  to reach Nimule and Adjumani with the massage of Hope. Jesus is the Hope for the New Nation.            

2- To organize peace and reconciliation workshop for Nuer and Dinka pastors in Adjumani camp. 

3- To provide and supply items such as blankets, plastic sheets, mosquito net for Children, Elderly women and men and to the most needy one. Targeted  2014-15. 

 

(Target group: Children, Women, Elderly Women and Men. Numbers of those who will benefits from this effort are: 2500 person)  The estimated budget for this effort is: $ 20 000.00 Relief items will cost

 

$ 10,000 Logistics and operation cost.

$   6,000 Training cost for 80 pastors and elders

$   4,000 Our local collection for this effort right now is

$   2,100  So the total amount needed is:

$17, 900
